about

Despite leaning towards the atmosphere of "Once Allegoric", "NOCELYM" is a standalone track bridging the gap between "The Story of M" (2017) and coRPus' "The Rise" (2008), making things full circle.

Written in January 2020 for my daughter, Lenthe.

For each purchase of this track I will donate €1 to UPC KU Leuven for their depression treatment.

lyrics

Alone in misty meadows
An eerie silence to ignore
Overwhelming shadows
And I can't find you anymore

Pushing past September
As Cinderella did before
In case you can't remember
No one could ever love you more

No one could ever love you more

When beginnings and end amalgamates

No one could ever love you more
No one could ever love you

Shrine of August Herent, Belgium

Shrine of August is the solo project of Belgian drummer / songwriter Steve Vanderperren. After many years playing various genres, the time was right to bring together all ideas and influences from his musical beginning till today. To sum it all up, the term "Prog Noir" came up. Progressive elements will definitely remain, but the emphasis is on the music itself, not necessarily its technicality. ... more
